Robin Schmid

I originally come from a small town in the Allgäu region of Germany, close to Lake Constance and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. I developed an interest in the real estate industry early on, so I decided to do an internship in the real estate department of a bank while I was still at school, so that I could look over the shoulders of experienced real estate agents in their daily work. These insights were so exciting and lasting that I decided to study business administration with a focus on the construction and real estate industry at Biberach University of Applied Sciences after passing my A-levels.

My interest in other countries and cultures took me to some great places during this time, including California's Monterey Bay, where I spent half a year as part of a semester abroad. There I realised how much the proximity to the sea and a pleasant climate affect my quality of life. So after returning to Germany, I didn't want to miss this any more and thought about where I could best combine such a quality of life with my passion for real estate. It quickly became clear to me that I should be drawn to Mallorca.

I was able to gain my first experience in the high-end real estate sector with an exclusive estate agent in Santa Ponsa. At the beginning of November, I moved to the luxury real estate agency One Mallorca, where I will be working especially in the southwest of the island.
